which first established its operations in Queensland, Australia in 1975. The company
processes more than 10 million samples per annum and is one of the largest analytical
laboratory groups in the world. Our staff of over 6000 operate out of over 160 locations
in 40 plus countries throughout Australia, North America, South America, Africa,
Europe and Asia. ALS provides a broad range of sophisticated, state of the art services
to six main market segments; Mining, Mineral Exploration and Mineralogy, Environmental
Analysis (air, water, soil, sediment, electronics), Coal Analysis (Exploration and
Export Superintending), Lubricant Analysis and Condition Monitoring, Food/Pharmaceutical
Analysis and Industrial Services (NDT, Materials Testing, Mechanical Testing).
ALS laboratories operate in compliance with ISO17025, with dedicated Quality Control
Chemists at each major laboratory and a dedicated Quality Control Group in each
region of the world. A global divisional management structure ensures consistency
in approach, whilst recognizing and respecting local regulations/legislation and
requirements. Our non laboratory services are aligned to the ISO9001 standard.
As a professional services organization, ALS is committed to the ongoing professional
development of all staff through peer interaction as well as in-house and external
training Programs.

that is in excess of local regulatory requirements, throughout the world.
