The ALS Group Environmental and Food & Pharmaceutical divisions operate one of the largest and most diversified laboratory networks in Asia. ALS has laboratories with extensive analytical capabilities in China, Singapore, Hong Kong, Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia and Taiwan.
The scope of services include; environmental monitoring (sediment, soil and water), air monitoring (stack gas, stationary source, ambient, indoor and industrial hygiene), food, microbiological testing, cosmetics, Chinese proprietary medicines, electronics (RoHS and micro contaminant monitoring), petroleum products and oil trending analyses, and biological fluids testing. Sampling, consultancy and project management services are available at some locations. Specific locations also provide on-site mobile laboratory services and CEMS.
The ALS laboratories in Asia provide a diverse range of analyses in the above mentioned market sectors, from routine analyses to high-end boutique services. A strong commitment to technical leadership is available through an experienced and highly skilled staff group (in excess of 550 staff in the region), state-of-the-art facilities and the latest instrumentation. Instrumentation includes; GF-AAS, ICPOES, ICPMS, GCFID, GCMS, GCECD, HPLC, LCMSMS, discrete analysers, automated titration equipment, SEM-EDX and FTIR.

ALS Thailand has laboratories in Bangkok, Rayong and Pathumthani. The Bangkok laboratory was established in 1984 is accredited by The Ministry of Public Health of Thailand for food testing and accredited by The Ministry of Industry for environmental and non-food testing.
The laboratory is a full-service food & healthcare and environmental laboratory.
The laboratory has accredited analyses for metals, inorganic, organic and microbiological determinations in environmental soils and water. These are complimented by a diverse range of air analysis expertise, including; mobile on site laboratories, ambient air monitoring, stack emission sampling and analysis and industrial hygiene monitoring.
The food laboratory provides analyses for general food, commodities, health supplements, cosmetic products and food packaging. Typical analyses include; microbiological, nutritional labelling, residue analyses, preservatives and sweeteners testing, heavy metals and vitamin content testing.
For enquiries the standard office hours are between 8am and 5pm Monday to Saturday.
