Various Elements in Concentrates

High-Grade Multi-Element Analysis
This is a four acid multi-element procedure specifically designed for major, minor and trace elements in high-grade samples and concentrates. Extra care is taken with senior staff reviewing the results in detail. Aqua regia/ICP-MS and oxidizing fusion/XRF options are also available.
Industrial minerals commonly have highly refractory components requiring aggressive digestions. These methods are designed to completely dissolve the analytical sub-sample, leaving no inhomogenous residual material behind.
Acid-base accounting (ABA), also called static testing, calculates a net neutralization potential (NNP) representing the ability of a body of rock to produce acid rock drainage or to consume free acid and neutralize it. The packages listed are those most commonly used. Ask our client services team for other options. Minimum sample size for all ABA packages is 100g.
Humidity Cells & Metal Leaching
Tests to quantify metal leaching from mine waste under meteoric conditions can range from simple shake flask analysis to long term column leaches. Many analytical options are possible on the leaches; prices will vary based on analytical package requested.
