ALS Perth appoints Chris Le Maitre as the new Environmental Laboratory Manager
Reporting to the State Manager, Chris will be responsible for the operational activities of the Perth Laboratory.
Chris started his career in 2008 at ALS working at the Environmental laboratory in Springvale Victoria, and has now relocated to Perth to take on the position of Laboratory Manager.
Over the last ten years, Chris has worked his way through the laboratory structure from a laboratory technician conducting preparation tasks for the inorganic and organic teams through to ICPOES operator and Team Leader for Non-Metal analyses. Chris is a NATA signatory with quality assurance experience, trouble shooting capability and the ability to manage workloads and staff.
Chris is a graduate of the iLead program which is a leadership program designed for staff with leadership potential.
Chris’s new role of Perth Laboratory Manager will give him oversight of the new Wangara Perth Environmental laboratory recently commissioned in January 2018.
The Perth Laboratory has a very wide client base including mining clients, oil companies, government departments, industry direct and environmental consultancies. As such the Perth Laboratory business offers a broad scope of analyses and capabilities to both current and prospective clients.
