This one-day, not-for-profit technical seminar organized by Scott Halley and hosted by CSIRO will highlight the similarities between the geochemical signature of Kalgoorlie gold deposits with modern day porphyry and epithermal systems. Pre-metamorphic alteration systems are probably a very common precursor to orogenic gold deposits. Sarah Rice, Senior Geochemist with ALS, will be speaking on ultra-trace 4 acid digestion & ICP-MS/AES at the seminar.
