This report highlights the important achievements ALS has made in the areas of economic performance, health and safety, compliance, diversity, labour practices, and community involvement, and outlines the further work planned to demonstrate responsible environmental management such as energy efficiency programs and waste recycling.
ALS Sustainability report
ALS is committed to regularly measuring, improving and reporting against its targets which is a key driver of its long-term business performance. The objective of the report is to provide clarity to our stakeholders on sustainability and to act as a benchmark from which to measure future progress on sustainability.
The report has been designed with reference to the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) Standards. ALS has assessed the materiality of the GRI Standards and the report reflects those aspects which have been considered the most critical in relation to ALS's business and its stakeholders. The report contains consolidated data from all ALS facilities across the globe. Data has been collected and collated by the ALS compliance and risk team relating to the 12 month period ending 31 March 2020.
