ALS expands its reach in Italy with the acquisition of Neosis, an environmental analysis laboratory in Moncalieri
ALS has acquired Neosis srl, an environmental analysis laboratory headquartered in Moncalieri, a municipality of Turin, Italy.
Neosis is a private environmental laboratory that provides sampling, consultancy, and analytical services primarily for air, emissions, water, solid waste and soil matrices. Neosis is regarded as a centre of excellence, specialising in the monitoring of food, medicine and biogas. The laboratory is ISO 17025 accredited, with 36 employees operating labs in both Moncalieri and Latina.
The Neosis acquisition is part of ALS’ strategic expansion in the Italian environmental testing market and furthers the development activities initiated in 2018 with the acquisition of Felsilab srl, an environmental laboratory located in Bologna. Neosis’ dedication to customer service, safety, data precision and innovation align with ALS’ culture of excellence and commitment to providing solutions that offer the highest degree of confidence in analytical results.
With this acquisition, ALS expands its presence in Italy, where it already operates in Friuli-Venezia Giulia, Emilia-Romagna, Piemonte and Lazio. ALS’ vision includes further investments in the region over the next 2 to 5 years in the environmental and agri-food analytical fields, with the goal of strengthening its position as a trusted leader for the Italian national testing market.
