ALS combines EPA-approved methods 8330, 7580, and 6850 for explosives, white phosphorous, and perchlorate – under one roof.
The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) recommends Method 8330 to identify common explosives and their breakdown products. This method covers a range of explosives and byproducts, listed below. Additionally, specific projects may require testing for white phosphorus (Method 7580) and perchlorate (Method 6850).
ALS is one of few labs offering a centralized testing solution that combines all three methods (8330, 7580, and 6850) under one roof. This simplifies logistics, reduces turnaround time, and ensures consistent, reliable results.
