Continuous Emission Monitoring System (CEMS)

Stack emissions monitoring involves the assessment of air pollutants released from stationary industrial sources to determine pollutant concentration and emission rates from manufacturing processes. The monitoring provides technical data for evaluating the performance of air pollution control systems and supports compliance with environmental regulations.

Our stack testing services include on-site sampling and laboratory analysis of emissions from stationary sources such as process exhaust stacks, boilers, furnaces, incinerators, and industrial combustion systems. Sampling and emission rate calculations are conducted using internationally recognised reference methods to accurately determine pollutant concentrations, volumetric flow rates, and mass emission rates.

Dust control

Scope of Stack Emissions Monitoring Includes:

  • Total Suspended Particulates (TSP), including PM₁₀ and PM₂.₅
  • Combustion-related gases, such as Sulfur Dioxide (SO₂), Nitrogen Oxides (NOx), and Carbon Monoxide (CO)
  • Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs)
  • Semi-Volatile Organic Compounds (SVOCs)
  • Total Hydrocarbons (THC)
  • Dioxins and Furans

Monitoring results are used to evaluate the efficiency of air pollution control systems, verify compliance with emission standards, and support environmental reporting in accordance with the requirements of the Department of Industrial Works.

Testing is performed in accordance with internationally recognised standard methods, including US EPA reference methods for stack sampling, pollutant measurement, and emission rate calculations. Parameter-specific methods are applied as appropriate to ensure accurate and reliable data for environmental compliance assessment.
