Workplace Air Quality Monitoring

Workplace air quality monitoring focuses on assessing airborne contaminants and physical factors in occupational environments that may impact worker health and safety. Monitoring provides scientific data to characterise workplace conditions, identify occupational health risks, and support effective workplace environmental management.

Our services cover the assessment of airborne chemicals and relevant physical parameters across various types of workplaces, including manufacturing facilities, production areas, laboratories, construction sites, and specialised operational environments. The data generated supports occupational hygiene evaluations and risk management in alignment with the regulatory framework and guidance issued by the Department of Labour Protection and Welfare (Thailand).

A person in a work uniform records measurements on a tablet or clipboard next to an indoor air quality monitoring device mounted on a tripod inside an indoor workspace.

Scope of Workplace Air Monitoring Includes:

  • Airborne dust in occupational environments, including Total Dust, Respirable Dust, and process-specific particulate matter
  • Airborne chemicals and vapours, such as Benzene, Toluene, Xylene, Formaldehyde, and Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs)
  • Hazardous gases, including Carbon Monoxide (CO), Hydrogen Sulfide (H₂S), Ammonia (NH₃), and other gases associated with industrial processes or combustion
  • Occupational physical parameters, including noise levels, lighting intensity, and heat stress conditions in work areas

Sampling and analysis are performed using internationally recognised standard methods. Airborne chemical contaminants are analysed in accordance with NIOSH and OSHA methods, while physical parameters are measured following relevant ISO standards to ensure reliable data for occupational exposure assessment and workplace risk management.
