Audits must be conducted to demonstrate that programs / processes are in place and compliant to ensure food safety through a food safety culture and system. Inspections help to identify risk events, behaviours and hazards that might lead to Food safety issues.

Audit & Inspection team & online solutions

With internal and external third-party training programmes, ALS has the expertise to support client audits and inspection requirements. ALS has a professional team of assessors that can provide audits and inspections based upon the food safety standards, such as GFSI standards (BRC, IFS, SQF) or ISO 22000 standard, as well as any client code of practice. Requirements for the scope of the assessment can also be tailored to create unique templates and scoring systems.

ALS Solutions, our online client portal, allows the creation of audit templates, capturing of audit comments and records, including photographic evidence, reports, following-up of corrective / preventive actions (CAPA) between the assessors, the client, and the auditee. The report and scoring can be collated locally, regionally, or globally to provide portfolio insights and monitoring.

ALS holds ISO 17020 accreditation as an Inspection body.
