General qualifications for enrolling in studies at our Irving site (Individual studies will have further qualifications)


Potential study participants must be in good general health, be able to read and understand English, and have a valid U.S. government-issued photo ID. Study participants cannot be taking medication for asthma, diabetes or have any autoimmune disorder, and cannot be pregnant, nursing, or planning a pregnancy.

Supplement for GLP-1 Users

Up to $150.00 for all complete visits

This is a research study related to alleviating the side effects of GLP-1 medications by using over the counter (OTC) laxative products. These products are currently marketed and can be purchased without a prescription in stores where you normally shop. The sponsor (Prestige Consumer Healthcare, Inc.) wants to learn more about them.
Glucagon-like peptide-1 (GLP-1) are a class of drugs used to treat obesity and type 2 diabetes. They work by mimicking the actions of the GLP-1 hormone, which is released by the gut after eating. GLP-1 help control blood sugar and insulin levels and promote feelings of fullness.

    Qualifications

    • Males and Females
    • Age 18 and older
    • Have a prescription for a GLP-1 (examples: exenatide, liraglutide, dulaglutide, and semaglutide) filled by a licensed and authorized pharmacy

    Eczema can't be located in intimate area.

Requirements: Males and Females, Eczema, Severe Dry Skin

    Cannot be taking any of the following:

    • fish oil
    • flaxseed supplements
    • blood thinners
    • anticoagulants

    Must be showing signs of one of the following:

    • active eczema
    • severe dry, flaky skin

Requirements: Males and Females, Dark spots

    • Must have at least 1 persistent dark spot that has been visible for 3+ months
    • Persistent dark spot must be at least 3mm wide
    • Participant must be showing signs of aging
