High levels of organic contaminants are not found in surface water unaffected by human activity. Elevated levels of such contaminants is a result of short or long range transport from contamination sources.

Surface water monitoring typically involves testing for the presence of organic contaminants. Our network of accredited laboratories offers a wide range of tests for presence of organic contaminants, including emerging contaminants such as PFAS
