Full scope air testing and client services support

Our U.S. air operations measure an extensive range of volatile organics and hazardous air pollutants from:

  • Soil vapor and vapor intrusion studies
  • Indoor air quality investigations
  • Landfill gas and renewable natural gas (RNG) monitoring
  • Fence line and community air monitoring

Our approach to client service simplifies project coordination with proactive communication and status updates, responsive air testing specialists and mobile tech field teams.

Expert chemists can assist in tailoring analyte packages and provide sampling media for requested target compounds, backed by rigorous QA/QC, and data reporting tailored for permitting, compliance or litigation.

Legacy labs, comprehensive solutions

One of the largest air and vapor testing laboratories in the U.S. is our Simi Valley laboratory. Testing services include most whole-air analyses (including TO-15 and TO-3), as well as thermal desorption methods TO-17 and EPA 325B.

With an inventory of over 3,500 summa canisters, our Simi Valley laboratory is equipped to provide canisters even during peak vapor intrusion season. The laboratory maintains extensive state certifications to perform analysis on vapor samples for nearly every state, with Department of Defense certification to support federal project work.

Our Salt Lake City laboratory is a full-service industrial hygiene laboratory offering a broad scope of air and emissions testing. Our Cincinnati and Queens laboratories are full-service environmental laboratories able to handle a large volume of TO-15 analysis.

Specialized services for emerging needs

Emission projects (for industrial facilities, energy plants and remediation sites) require specialized testing for hazardous air pollutants (HAPs), VOCs, SVOCs, dioxins/furans, particulates and PFAS in air (emerging). Our laboratories are fully equipped to deliver on these and other challenging, specialized air testing demands:

  • Siloxanes and VOCs in biogas and landfill gas
  • Speciated sulfur testing for odor and compliance issues
  • Passive sampling of BTEX for community and fence-line monitoring
  • Volatiles by EPA TO-15, as well as specialty semi-volatile compounds or hydrocarbon ranges, for vapor intrusion and real estate transactions
