EnviroMail™ 83 - Automated Comparison Report for NSW DECC Waste Classification Guidelines (Dec 2009)

Posted 01 December 2014

Waste Classification in NSW is an involved process requiring extensive data comparison by Industry professionals. Since data is laboratory generated, ALS has automated this comparison process to remove this laborious task for our clients.

After consultation with a number of our environmental clients, ALS has created Guideline Reports to complement the P7 packages (ALS internal packages for classifying waste). These packages P7/3 & P7/4 are designed to simplify COCs, reduce ALS and consultant costs.\

The “Guideline Comparison Report” is generated automatically when the relevant package suite is selected. It interrogates the analytical data produced for the suite against the Specific Contaminant Concentration from Table 1 of the Waste Classification Guidelines.
