Our pilot-scale coal pulveriser and boiler simulation furnace provide comprehensive assessment and benchmarking of the combustion performance of coals and coal blends as they would perform in industrial applications. Historical data allows high-resolution modelling of a coals’ potential performance in combustion and milling processes. ALS combustion experts are also available to witness trial burns in power stations to ensure that coal is fully and fairly evaluated.
