Testing of PFAS in drinking water

General chemistry or base parameters include a number of tests that are used to indicate the water quality. These tests are not specific i.e. not targeting a specific contaminant.

Base parameters will be included in all drinking waters regulations and will have limits or ranges that are not to be exceeded.

Base parameter methods

When submitting a sample to an ALS laboratory you will have access to a wide range of base parameters, both regulated and unregulated.

Test methods in all ALS laboratories follow local legislation. Instrumentation used for testing is typically titration units or ion chromatography.
