PLC/DCS PROGRAMMING

SCADA & HMI DEVELOPMENT

We design SCADA and HMI systems that prioritise clarity, reliability and effective operator decision-making.

Our team works with existing SCADA platforms as well as greenfield systems, developing interfaces that present the right information at the right time without unnecessary complexity. Emphasis is placed on consistent navigation, meaningful alarms and displays that support rapid understanding of plant state.

Where appropriate, we assist with virtualised SCADA architectures, thin clients and centralised server environments to help reduce hardware risk and simplify system maintenance.

ADVANCED PROCESS CONTROL (EXPERT SYSTEMS)

We design, implement and support advanced process control systems to improve plant stability and performance where conventional control strategies reach their limits.

Our experience includes both vendor-supplied APC platforms and custom-developed solutions, including our own Impact APC system. Depending on the application, we apply appropriate techniques such as multivariable control, constraint-based optimisation, fuzzy logic or data-driven models.

Each solution is selected based on process behaviour, operational risk and site capability, with a strong focus on transparency, maintainability and alignment with metallurgical objectives. Advanced control is implemented as a practical extension of existing control systems, not as a black-box replacement.
