We operate in compliance with the UNI CEI EN ISO / IEC 17025 standard, an international standard that specifies the general requirements for the competence of testing laboratories, as well as the continuous participation in inter-laboratory proficiency tests specific to honey (FAPAS program and International Honey Commission).
In ALS we perform global migration tests to determine the number of non-volatile substances released from a material or object in food simulants and specific migration tests to establish the amount of a given substance released from a material or object in products or simulants. Food specific migration tests are performed with various analytical techniques including ICP-MS, GC-MS, GC-MS / MS and LC-MS / MS.
