Our contaminant testing utilizes advanced and modern testing equipment to develop methods and carry out testing for current and emerging contaminants of interest to global regulators and customers of Australasian dairy products.

RAPID RESPONSE TO INCIDENTS

Our unique combination of capability to carry out rapid method development, and bring this into high throughput operations, enables us to work with MilktestNZ to quickly provide solutions to potential contamination issues. Our testing in support of the 2015/16 1080 monofluoroacetate contamination threat is an example of this in action.

EMERGING CONTAMINANTS

ALS and Milktest NZ develop methods for testing emerging contaminants in milk and dairy products, and implement them in operations that are designed to meet industry requirements for cost and capacity. These developments are generally market or customer driven, and we welcome enquiries about any current or future dairy contaminants where our capability may be able to assist.
